As a Non-profit Tax Exempt Corporation (501 C 3) we rely on caring individuals who volunteer their time, talents, and resources.

Our volunteers have established a time tested and trusted relationship with Helping Hearts and Hands allowing us to have great confidence in their abilities to accomplish all the many faceted tasks that assist someone in palliative need.

The following is a list of many areas that we value our volunteers' help; it is by NO means exclusive as the needs of someone in palliative care tends to ripple out like rings on a pond; their circumstances encompasses many needs and lives.

TYPES OF VOLUNTEERS WE NEED

Aides/Helpers: This area is one of the most critical and important. No special training, certifications, or experience is necessary, ONLY HAVING A HEART TO HELP AND A WILLINGNESS TO PUT YOUR HANDS TO WORK TO HELP ANOTHER LESS CAPABLE THAN YOURSELF. All of the following categories fit inside of this most important area. Regardless of your expertise in any given field, your personal interaction with one in palliative need is typically the most rewarding . . . for both parties.
